1. Information We Collect
When you use Orbit, we collect:
- Your name and email address (via Google OAuth sign-in)
- Your creator profile information (name, niche, follower range) that you provide during onboarding
- Platform analytics data (follower counts, video counts, engagement metrics) from connected platforms via their official APIs
- Content planning items you create within the app
2. How We Use Your Information
We use your data solely to:
- Display your analytics dashboard
- Generate AI-powered growth insights personalized to your content
- Provide the content planning features of the Service
We do not sell, rent, or share your personal data with third parties for marketing purposes.
3. TikTok Data
When you connect TikTok, we request the following OAuth scopes:
- user.info.basic — Your TikTok display name and profile picture, used to identify your connected account in the dashboard.
- user.info.stats — Your follower count and engagement statistics, displayed in your analytics dashboard.
- video.list — A list of your public videos and their performance metrics, used to display your top-performing content.
We only read this data — we never post, edit, or delete content on your TikTok account. Your TikTok access tokens are stored securely and used only to fetch your analytics on your behalf.
4. Data Storage & Security
Your data is stored in a secure Supabase (PostgreSQL) database hosted on AWS. Access tokens for connected platforms are stored server-side and never exposed to the browser. We use industry-standard encryption in transit (HTTPS) and at rest.
5. Data Retention & Deletion
You may disconnect any platform at any time from your dashboard, which removes our access to that platform's data. To delete your account and all associated data, use the account deletion option in your settings, or contact us at hello@axle.so.
6. Third-Party Services
We use the following third-party services to operate Orbit:
- Supabase — Database and authentication
- Vercel — Application hosting
- Anthropic (Claude) — AI-generated growth insights
